I guess I should write a few comments on the final parts of my game, since, as usual, I sucked at keeping my confessional up to date.
So, The lo-down of my game went something like this......
At the start, after Fabio was gone and we had our tribes picked out. I was quite happy with the Fengbao tribe. We had all the "good" people. We were the Bubble Gum Tribe, I liked that. I liked not having any shit disturbers on our tribe, we were at peace. We made a good "team". That is, of course, once Darrah was gone. Brett and I had a very strong bond since Namibia, so we were naturally going to work together. I was happy to have talked to Kim before the game started and being on the same tribe, we formed a close bond and friendship and sealed a final 2 deal. And of course Colleen, who has been in my corner from Bermuda to Tonga to here, I love her and hope she beats the odds this time. I also got to know Austin really well this season and we tried to stick together over on Verraad and he's a really nice person and I wish him well in the game.
Now on the flip side of things.... I always knew that if I ever got sent to the other tribes I had at least someone.... On Auha - I would have had Danielle and Dan. Danielle wanted a pre-gameF2 pact which I agreed to but we never had the opportunity to really entertain it at all. Dan and I formed a good bond in Manchuria and I'd have loved to work with Dan if we'd had the chance. On Verraad... I knew I always had Lex. Lex and I go way back to Bermuda, and not a lot of people know that and we used that to our advantage, or tried to
Brett, of course, knew and we 3 were going to go F3 together, but then I made the F2 with Kim so then we all agreed on an F4 of Me, Kim, Brett, Lex. I think it would have been an awesome F4 if I hadn't have screwed it up, damn it. Anyway, back to my story..... Lex and I formed a really good bond in a short period of time during Bermuda and I couldn't wait for the opportunity to work with him again in such intense circumstances. But while over on Verraad, I got to know Rupert and he is a very, very nice person. I wish him well.
The stoopid night - I had multiple AIM conversations. I had separate convo with Lex and with Rupert. I had group Convo with Brett, Kim, Colleen and I think Austin was too, maybe? Anyway, the big discussion was about how I should use my vote. Should I use my vote to just get rid of Rob, or should we make the big move and take out Rupert? We were also discussing, or rather I was asking, why the hell they kidnapped Austin and not me?
Kim said she wanted to kidnap me, which I totally believe, but they said Austin, I'm not sure, why, they still say they're not sure, that they were just sure Rob would go, but I guess it will still be a mystery, just one of those things. So I was also talking to Lex and proposing to him the F3 - F4 with he and I and Brett - Kim, he said that F3 was his Ideal F3 and Kim as an F4 was awesome. So the plans were in motions for us to go ahead with us voting Rob this time and Rupert next time, before merge.
So this is basically what all was taking place before the infamous "falling asleep at the wheel" happened! It really shitty, because I was really excited as things were really starting to take shape. It just sucks, SUCKS.
