I can tolerate a certain threshold of decibels... but I may not have been able to take it. Of course, I would have brought my own earplugs. I'll have plenty for when I go to China next month  |

Wow. You guys get to do some seriously awesome stuff. I'm looking at trying to hook up a transfer to Oxford in 2013, but I have to have a 3.5 GPA to qualify, which means I'm going to have to work like a madman for the next coupla semesters to even be considered...

The trip to China is only three weeks, but it is a class on its own - 3 credits.
The trip goes to Hong Kong, Chengdu (Panda Reserve!), Xian, Hebei Normal University [where we'll have a brutal crash course in Mandarin and Chinese culture], and ends at Beijing. There are a couple other places in there too, but they're not as special.
It's going to be awesome, but it obviously means that Erik will be taking over hosting duties for a time. I'll still drop in as necessary, but don't count on seeing me on AIM or the boards a lot during the stretch from May 15th to June 6th.
